Annie Macaulay Says Her Daughters Are Her Backbone After Split from 2Face

Nigerian model and actress Annie Macaulay Idibia has made it clear that her daughters are the most important people in her life. Annie, who recently parted ways with her husband 2Face Idibia, shared this while speaking with a reporter at the Headies Awards in Lagos on Sunday.

When asked about her family, she pointedly said that her two daughters, Isabella and Olivia, are the only family she has, describing them as her “backbone.” Speaking in pidgin, Annie said, “You mean my children? My children dey kampe. The first one dey Yankee, she dey go school. No play with that girl o. I don’t play with my kids. Na them be my backbone.”

Annie also grabbed attention on stage when she introduced herself as single, jokingly correcting her name, “My name is Annie Idi—oh sorry, Annie Macaulay. Hey, single ladies!”

Moses Bliss has now issued an apology, saying “I sincerely apologize to every graphic designer who felt disrespected or undervalued… that was never my intention.”

He added “The goal was to give creatives a platform to showcase their work, not to undermine their value.”
