Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has confirmed that captain Martin Odegaard is expected to be sidelined for several weeks due to an ankle injury sustained during international duty earlier this month.

Speaking last week, Arteta described the injury as “significant,” and on Tuesday, he provided a timeframe for Odegaard’s absence. He also mentioned that Oleksandr Zinchenko is dealing with a calf injury that will keep him out for an extended period as well. Regarding Odegaard’s potential return before next month’s international break, Arteta stated, “It’s unlikely, but we might get a surprise.”

This means that I no longer want to play professionally on Saturdays.”

Wallner also clarified that he is not affiliated with any particular church but made this decision based on his understanding of the Bible and his personal convictions.
