Atalanta Reject Inter’s €40m Offer as Lookman Pushes for Summer Exit
Atalanta have rejected Inter Milan’s initial €40 million offer for Nigerian forward Ademola Lookman. Transfer insider Fabrizio Romano shared that Atalanta are standing firm on their €50 million valuation. Despite Lookman expressing his desire to leave the club this summer, the Serie A side isn’t willing to let him go for anything less.
Inter reportedly reached out to present their opening bid, but Atalanta have made it clear they won’t give the green light at that price, especially to a domestic rival. Lookman played a key role in Atalanta’s Europa League triumph last season, scoring a memorable hat-trick in the final against Bayer Leverkusen. Now hoping for a move, the ball is in Inter’s court to return with an improved offer if they truly want the talented winger.
