Liverpool Go for Rodrygo as Man City Targets Tottenham’s Dexter Oliver
Liverpool have officially stepped into the race to sign Real Madrid star Rodrygo. As reported by ESPN Brasil, the Premier League side is pushing to bring in the Brazilian forward this summer.
Rodrygo had limited playing time during the FIFA Club World Cup in the U.S., which has caused questions about his future at Madrid. With the new season approaching, a final decision from the player is expected soon.
In a separate update, Manchester City are closing in on the signing of young attacking midfielder Dexter Oliver from Tottenham. Transfer insider Fabrizio Romano revealed that the deal is expected to be finalized within the next two days. Oliver will be a fresh addition to Man City’s Academy setup as the club continues its focus on grooming top young talent.
Pep Guardiola reveals why he left Manchester City. It can be recalled that the manager recently left Man City, and now he has revealed his reason during an interaction with reporters.
He shared that he is running out of energy.
“I share the same feeling as when Jurgen Klopp left, I am running out of energy. I feel like I will not have the energy that is required for a game every three days, to fight for titles, being in front of the players every day.”
He then added that he believes the club should have a new manager with fresh energy to direct the team.

Luis Enrique, manager of Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), praised Arsenal F.C. and called them the best team in the world after their win in the Premier League.
He shared: “I believe they deserve to win the league — they have had an outstanding season.
“We have already faced this Arsenal team, so we are aware of their capabilities.
“Without the ball, they are the best team in the world, and with it, they can score frequently. This creates a remarkable combination for them.”
