Atiku Celebrates Kwankwaso at 68, Hails His Legacy and Patriotism
Former Vice President of Nigeria, Atiku Abubakar, has extended his heartfelt congratulations to his long-time ally and fellow political figure, Engr. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, as he celebrates his 68th birthday.
In a warm message shared on social media, Atiku expressed admiration for Kwankwaso’s contributions to both Kano State and the nation at large, calling him a “time-tested political leader” who has dedicated years of service to the people.
Kwankwaso, a former two-term governor of Kano State, has left an indelible mark on the political landscape.
He is well-known for his innovative programs, including the Kwankwasiyya movement, which has garnered significant support, especially among the youth in northern Nigeria.
His leadership in the state not only improved infrastructure but also emphasized education, with scholarship programs that benefited countless students.
Atiku highlighted Kwankwaso’s “towering political figure,” acknowledging his resilience and unwavering commitment to the development of Nigeria.
The former governor’s influence stretches beyond his gubernatorial tenure, as he has held key roles at the national level, including serving as Minister of Defence.
Kwankwaso’s political career is marked by his doggedness and a sense of patriotism, qualities that have made him a notable figure in Nigeria’s political arena.
Atiku’s message also reflected the deep bond shared between the two leaders. Both men have worked together in various political contexts over the years, with Kwankwaso notably running for president in 2019 under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), where Atiku was also a major contender.
Their shared vision for Nigeria has kept them aligned on many issues, especially in matters of governance and national unity.
As Kwankwaso celebrates another year, Atiku wishes him many more years of fruitful service, not only to Kano but to the entire country.
He emphasized that Kwankwaso’s contributions to Nigeria are far from over and that his leadership remains essential in the journey toward a better and more prosperous nation.
This birthday message from Atiku underscores the mutual respect and collaboration between two of Nigeria’s prominent political leaders, both of whom continue to play pivotal roles in shaping the country’s future.

First Lady Oluremi Tinubu Speaks on Forgiveness and Moving Forward
First Lady of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has shared that she has forgiven those who betrayed her husband during the 2023 general elections.
She revealed this as she marked a new age, reflecting on what the future holds. She emphasized that she holds no grudge against anyone.
“I do not have anything against anyone. The question is how I stopped feeling the betrayal? I knew the grace factor was evident, and the Holy Spirit continually comforted me. I chose never to avenge myself, understanding that it is God’s prerogative. Mine is to thank Him for fighting for us. If God decides to fight your battles and you have won, is there anything else that God missed and you wanted to fix? Nothing. So, let it go.”

Atiku’s Spokesman Says APC Is Already Planning to Rig the 2027 Elections
Paul Ibe, spokesperson to former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, has accused the All Progressives Congress (APC) of laying the groundwork to manipulate the 2027 general elections.
Speaking during a YouTube interview, Ibe alleged that the ruling party, led by President Bola Tinubu, has run out of achievements to show after more than two years in office. This has resorted to silencing opposition voices and critical institutions.
According to him, APC is working to weaken independent media, civil society groups, and political opponents. They insists that the clampdown is part of a wider strategy to retain power.
“They have nothing to offer after two years of holding on to the mandate,” Ibe said. “The only way left for them is to start preparing to rig, and the process is already in motion.”
Additionally, he went on to describe Nigeria’s current political climate as a drift into dictatorship, recalling the heavy price paid by activists who fought for democracy in the past.
“The democracy we’ve had since 1999 came at a huge sacrifice. Many lives were lost in the struggle,” he said. “Those heroes would be turning in their graves to see what is happening now. People like Sowore are being harassed and intimidated, and that shows where we are heading.”
