The recent unauthorized release of BLACKPINK’s Lisa’s upcoming album, “Alter Ego,” has caused controversy within Blackpink’s fan community. During a live broadcast on February 25, 2025, Lisa was distressed upon learning about the leak from fan comments.

In the aftermath, tensions have spread among BLACKPINK’s fanbase, known as BLINKs, with some attributing the leak to fans supporting fellow members Rosé and Jennie.

Online discussions have surfaced, suggesting that certain overzealous fans, referred to as “akgaes,” may be responsible for the leak. A post on Pannchoa highlighted accusations against Rosé’s individual fans, stating, “If you look at Rosé’s akgaes on Twitter, they even leaked Jisoo’s album and Jisoo’s fans were fighting with them.”

Further complicating matters, some fans have implicated Jennie’s supporters in the leak. A user on X (formerly Twitter) remarked, “Jennie’s fans are really miserable… first they leaked Jisoo’s album, now they leaked Lisa’s too.” Such allegations have brought divisions among BLINKs.

As of now, there has been no official statement identifying the individual or group responsible for the leak. Fans worldwide are hopeful that the situation will be resolved promptly and that Lisa’s one year of hard work will receive the recognition it deserves upon the album’s official release.
