Burna Boy Reacts to Miss South Africa Controversy After Chidinma Adetshina’s Withdrawal
Nigerian artist Burna Boy commented on the recent Miss South Africa pageant, reacting to the controversy surrounding Chidinma Vanessa Adetshina’s withdrawal.
Adetshina, a 23-year-old law student, exited the competition after questions about her nationality arose, leading to an investigation by South Africa’s Home Affairs.
Mia Le Roux, who is the first deaf winner with a cochlear implant, was crowned Miss South Africa instead.
Burna Boy expressed surprise on social media, referencing the controversy with humor. Le Roux now heads to Miss Universe 2024 in Mexico.
