Burna Boy Says Music Isn’t a Job but a Lifestyle He Doesn’t Need a Vacation From
Burna Boy has shared his view on music, saying he doesn’t see it as a job but simply as his way of life. In a recent chat with BBC Radio 1Xtra, the Grammy-winning artist explained that making music is something he truly enjoys, not something he needs a break from.
“I don’t see music as work. It’s my life,” he said. “Why would I need a vacation from life?” He joked that unless he’s old or has a child to take care of, there’s really no reason to go on a vacation.
“It’s not like I’m out there doing heavy labour. I love what I do. If I wasn’t Burna Boy, I’d still want to be doing this. So what exactly am I taking a break from?”
