Nigerian Actress Chioma Chukwuka-Akpotha reveals her preparation for a role in the recent series, Seven Doors. The series is simply about an Igbo queen married to a Yoruba King with the Igbo queen speaking Yoruba occasionally.

The actress stared in a recent interview that she had to learn Yoruba specifically for this role. “I had to learn Yoruba for my role in Seven Doors. The Yoruba in the movie was not the regular one spoken in Lagos State, so I had to be very particular about the tone.”

Nigerian Skit-maker and Musician, Nasobi makes an odd request to Davido. The skit maker asked Davido on his social media account, X, to give him one of his unused cars.

In the same request, Nasobi shared how he is willing to pay in instalments until the price is reached for the unused car. “Senior man @davido, any car wey you no dey use abeg. I fit dey pay small small. Higher purchase. I know say one day you go say make I no pay again.”

Nigerian singer, Adekunle Gold reveals how he was scouted by a records label and became successful. He debuted his first song in December 2014 with Sade, covering a song by One Direction “Story Of My life”.

The cover song went viral and got the singer a lot of recognition which set the foundation of his musical career.

Adekunle shared how it was a song writer and singer, Pheelz that helped him sign with YBNL by Olamide. Afterwards he released his first album “Gold” which contains some popular songs like ‘Orente’ and ‘Pick Up’.

Nigerian Talent Manager, Jada Pollock comments on being labelled as Wizkid’s baby Mama. In a recent interview with BET UK, she shared that its quite frustrating being labelled that and not being acknowledged for her own achievements.

She expressed how some blogs chose to refer her as Wizkid’s Baby Mama when writing about her and not labelling her by her efforts.

“When Wizkid won a Grammy, I wrote a statement about how far Afrobeat has come. They published the statement, and the caption was “Wizkid baby mama. The narrative does not recognise that you’re an entrepreneur and a hardworking businesswoman. I’m not only a mother but also a manager, and I’ve helped build a legacy.”
