“I wasn’t happy then, but now when I look at my children, that unhappiness has been overruled. Life does not always go as planned, and sometimes people find meaning in situations that were once painful. My perspective changed over time, especially as I began to focus on the positive outcomes of my journey. Though I faced struggles early on, I am grateful for where I am today.”
