Nigerian gospel singer Steve Crown has announced his engagement to his partner. Steve shared the news in an Instagram post on Sunday night, where he was seen in a proposal video gently placing a crown on his fiancée’s head as they held hands lovingly.

Calling it the start of his best days, Steve told his followers that he is officially off the market. “Two hearts joined by God. A walk to forever and the beginning of my best days,” he wrote.

Media personality Ifedayo Olarinde, known as Daddy Freeze, has questioned the authenticity of miracles in Nigerian Pentecostal churches, claiming they are staged.

Daddy Freeze said he doesn’t believe in the miracles performed in these churches, suggesting they target gullible people. He argued that while the miracles performed by Jesus in the Bible were widely known and verifiable, no Nigerian pastor has been able to perform such miracles on a public figure.

Speaking on the Outside The Box podcast, he said, “I’m sorry, but I don’t believe in any miracles happening in Pentecostal churches. I have no issue with the pastors themselves, but the miracles don’t add up.”

He added that his high IQ of 156 makes it hard for him to accept these miracles as genuine. “Christ healed a man with a withered hand in the temple on a Sabbath. He raised Lazarus from the dead. He healed blind Bartimaeus, and everyone knew who he was. But in Nigeria today, no pastor has done anything like that.”

He mentioned cases like Dora Akunyili, who died of cancer despite prayers from top Nigerian pastors, and Mr. Ibu, whose health declined until he had to undergo amputation before eventually passing away. “If you’re performing miracles, I need proof,” Daddy Freeze insisted.

On March 20, 2025, Gold Medalist, the agency representing actor Kim Soo-hyun, filed criminal complaints against Kim Sae-ron’s family members and Kim Se-eui, the operator of the YouTube channel Garo Sero Research Institute.

The complaints allege violations of the Act on Special Cases Concerning the Punishment of Sexual Crimes, specifically regarding the distribution of illegal footage.

The controversy began when Garo Sero Research Institute aired a photograph during a live broadcast, depicting Kim Soo-hyun in a private setting that could cause him sexual embarrassment. This image was reportedly provided by an individual claiming to be the aunt of the late actress Kim Sae-ron.

Gold Medalist emphasized that the photo was taken during a personal relationship between Kim Soo-hyun and Kim Sae-ron, both of whom were adults at the time. The agency stated that the public release of such an image is a clear violation of privacy and constitutes a criminal act.

In their official statement, Gold Medalist expressed deep sadness over Kim Sae-ron’s passing but underscored the necessity of legal action to protect their artist’s rights. The agency mentioned that Garo Sero Research Institute has threatened to release additional similar photos, leaving them with no choice but to pursue strong legal measures.

They further warned that the unauthorized distribution or public display of intimate images without consent is a serious crime and that continued dissemination of false information by Kim Sae-ron’s family or Garo Sero Research Institute would result in comprehensive legal action to safeguard the honor and reputation of both the actor and the agency.

This legal action follows previous disputes between Gold Medalist and Kim Sae-ron’s family. The agency had earlier denied allegations of demanding damages from the late actress, clarifying that any legal notices sent were procedural communications and not demands for repayment.

They also refuted claims of restricting Kim Sae-ron’s contact with other actors within the agency and spreading rumors about former agency member Seo Yea-ji.
