This came after a video went viral showing Ronaldo enjoying Asake’s popular track “Active,” which features American rapper Travis Scott, further hinting at his interest in Afrobeat music.
In a new YouTube video, Ronaldo was asked to choose between Davido and Wizkid.
Without hesitation, he shared that he prefers Davido’s music, giving a nod to the Nigerian star’s global influence and style.
Ronaldo’s choice delighted Davido’s fanbase, with some noting that the two stars follow each other on Instagram, a platform where Ronaldo holds one of the largest followings.
