Danny Jordaan Expresses Confidence in Nigeria Ahead of Match With Congo
President of the South African Football Association, Danny Jordaan, defended the Super Eagles and expressed his belief in the team to defeat Congo in their next match.
It can be noted that Nigeria and Congo have a match for the final round of the 2026 FIFA World Cup playoff scheduled for Sunday, 16th November 2025.
“Nigeria is a big team; they have players who are among the best in the world, and I hope they will play true to their form and ability and get a good result.”
Liverpool have released a list of players who are confirmed to leave the club this summer.
The list includes star players Mohamed Salah, Andy Robertson, and Ibrahima Konaté. While some players are leaving, others have been offered new contracts.
The players who have been offered fresh terms include Kyle Kelly, Afolami Onanuga, Oliver O’Connor, Lucas Pitt, Ben Trueman, Matthew Wright, Prince Cisse, and Keyrol Figueroa.
Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen has urged Ademola Lookman to consider a move to Galatasaray.
It can be noted that Lookman recently completed a transfer to Atlético Madrid, and since then, many European clubs have shown interest in the player.
Osimhen then shared an encouraging message to the player, stating that he would be welcome at Galatasaray.
“We are waiting for you at Galatasaray. Come and be a part of this family.”
French footballer Kylian Mbappé has spoken on which player between Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo will score more goals at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
It can be noted that the FIFA World Cup will begin on Thursday and will be co-hosted by the USA, Mexico, and Canada.
