David Moyes is set to make a sensational return to Everton as the club’s new manager, with an official announcement expected this weekend, according to reports.

The former Manchester United and West Ham boss has reportedly agreed to a two-and-a-half-year deal that will keep him at Goodison Park until 2027.

This marks a dramatic chapter in the Toffees’ journey under their new owners, The Friedkin Group, who appear determined to steer the club back to glory.

Moyes, now 61, is no stranger to the blue side of Merseyside.

His first stint at Everton lasted 11 remarkable years, from 2002 to 2013.

During that period, he managed over 500 games and transformed the club from perennial relegation contenders to serious European hopefuls.

His most notable achievement was guiding Everton to a fourth-place finish in the Premier League in 2005.

Moyes left Everton in 2013 to take over the reins at Manchester United, succeeding the legendary Sir Alex Ferguson.

Although his time at Old Trafford was short-lived, he went on to rebuild his reputation.
