At a London nightclub, Nigerian Afrobeat icons Davido and Wizkid found themselves in the same space, yet completely avoided one another.

The incident was captured in videos shared by Afrobeat Podcast host, Adesope Olajide, on X (formerly Twitter).

Olajide’s post showed footage of the two stars present at the club, which has since sparked conversations online.

According to reports, Davido had already been in the nightclub, enjoying his time with friends, before Wizkid arrived with his entourage.

Despite the highly anticipated meeting of these two globally recognized stars, they made no effort to interact.

Fans were especially disappointed as both musicians have had a long history of rivalry and collaborations that have shaped Afrobeat.

Wizkid, known for his hit track “Ojuelegba,” reportedly stayed for only a brief moment after entering the club.

His early departure without acknowledging Davido caught the attention of many fans who were hoping for a more positive encounter between the two stars.

Meanwhile, Davido, the “Unavailable” crooner, appeared unbothered by the situation and continued to enjoy his night.

Though both artists have addressed their alleged beef in the past, this recent snub adds to the public speculation of an ongoing feud between them.

Their fans had been hopeful that both superstars would resolve any lingering issues and even hinted at a potential collaboration that would celebrate the growth of Afrobeat on the global stage.

However, this incident left many questioning whether their relationship remained strained or if it was just a coincidence.

As two of the most influential figures in the Nigerian music industry, Wizkid and Davido continue to push boundaries, winning accolades and performing to sold-out crowds worldwide.

Yet, moments like this serve as a reminder of the competitive undercurrents that run within the industry.

Fans can only watch and wait, hoping for a future where their favourite Afrobeat titans can stand together in unity rather than tension.
