Afrobeats singer, Davido, made headlines as he gifted his wife, Chioma, a 2025 Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon.
It can be noted that the model is valued at over $150,000, which is also the latest edition.
The singer then took to social media to share a video of himself presenting the car to Chioma, stating: “Only the best,” while emphasizing that she deserves the finest gifts.
Nigerian singer Mr Eazi has opened up about business and how he actually failed before becoming successful.
In a recent interview, the singer shared that he borrowed €40,000 from his uncle to start a business, but the venture failed.
“I remember one time I took money from my uncle to do business; the business went south. And then he was chasing me for the money… I was so embarrassed that my dad had to pay,” he said.
He added that the experience sharpened his mindset on business.

The news was revealed by the Directors Guild of Nigeria, which stated “It is with deep sorrow and a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Madam Cecilia Oby Kechere, Vice Chairman of the DGN Abuja Chapter.
“We were informed yesterday that she passed on Monday, 27th April 2026, after a prolonged illness.”
