Don Jazzy Reveals One of The Hardest Career Decision At Mavins Record
Nigerian music executive, Don Jazzy spoke on one of the hardest decisions he made. He shared how letting go of Di’ja was very hard.
He said, “One of the most difficult decisions of my career was when I had to let Di’ja go. That was difficult, and I don’t think I will let any artist go again by myself. Tega and Rima handle that now if they need somebody to leave the label.”
“Everybody on my record label is like my child. So, that was hard for both of us. And she [Di’ja] knew that it was hard for me. She even questioned the guys in the room why they had to involve me in that. All of us started crying. It was hard.”
Nigerian actress Bunmi Nelson expresses regret over a moment when she could have made a more successful decision but missed her chance.
She speaks on Funke Akindele and shares that had she known, she would have stuck with her to have more opportunities.
“I didn’t see Funke going far. That’s why in life, don’t underestimate anybody. Don’t look down on anyone except you’re admiring their shoelace.”
She added “If I knew Funke would go far like this, I would have held her tight because I can’t even see her back now.”
The actress speaks on when Funke first called her into the YouTube industry and how she was hesitant, but now expresses regret.

It can be noted that it was stated that Don Jazzy was the reason for the singer being successful, but the singer shared instead.
“God is the reason for my success. I give all the credit to Him because He was the one who brought me out and made me successful.”
