Don Jazzy Says His Journey to Music Success Made Him Miss Out on Marriage

Don Jazzy, the renowned producer and head of Mavin Records, has spoken about the sacrifices that came with building his place in Nigeria’s music industry.

In a recent chat on the Echo Podcast, the 42-year-old admitted that while he’s proud of his journey and has no regrets, one part of his life he feels might have been left behind is marriage.

Reflecting on his path to success, Don Jazzy shared that he never pictured himself being in his 40s and unmarried, saying, “Maybe that’s the one thing I lost along the way. If it happens, great. If not, I’m still okay.”

Over the years, the hitmaker has shaped the careers of some of the industry’s brightest names including Tiwa Savage, Rema, and Ayra Starr. He also noted that regardless of the role he plays, his life would always revolve around music.

Nigerian singer Tems reacts to comments linking her with Nigerian goalkeeper Maduka Okoye.

During a recent interview, the singer spoke about the African music movement.

“It’s amazing, you know, coming from Nigeria. I’m just really happy where African music is going right now. Everybody’s popping off and everybody’s shining. So I’m just happy to be a part of that.”

She was then asked if she knew the goalkeeper, to which she replied “Do I know him personally? “I think I do. No, no, no, no, no. I don’t.”
