Yinka Ash, the CEO and founder of Ashluxe is a Nigerian who created a statement in the fashion industry. He successful made his brand international, spreading out to over 50 countries in the world.
Starting out a brand internationally is definitely not an easy task especially from Nigeria, yet Yinka has accomplished this successfully. The Ashluxe brand focuses on luxury street wares with both millennials and Gen Z in mind.
Yinka Ash has also started out an incubation program called YAART, that reaches out to students in the universities. It is a non-profit organization that serves as a platform to inspire and empower youths on their passion and dreams.
This YAART incubation program gives the youths an insight on the path to success and instills motivation into the youths. This program also offers an opportunity to a one day internship in the Ashluxe industry, giving anyone who gets the opportunity a chance to experience behind the scenes and gives them a pathway to knowledge that can not just be gotten anywhere else.

Chidimma Adetshina Decides To Quit Pageantry After Success in Miss Universe Contest
Fashion Pageantry, Chidimma Adetshina decides to quit pageantry, she reveals this choice in an interview with Silverbird. Adetshina shares that pageantry has been a traumatic experience for her and will like to quit for personal reasons. She also shares that she will be relocating from South Africa to Nigeria.
“People still don’t understand how I felt. There were times when I almost quit during the Miss Universe contest. I’m really done with pageantry. I want to focus on myself and establish who I am. And forward my education as well.”
The pageant just won first runner up as Miss Nigeria in the Miss Universe beauty Competition and amid her victory she reveals that she will focus on other things.

Adejobi Olubi, an aide to Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke, speaks on the importance of the Nigeria’s Fashion Industry. During the press conference in Osogbo, Olubi shares the plans and aims for the upcoming Osogbo Fashion and Garment Week.
He talks about the importance of the event and how it is beneficial to the economy. This event will create job opportunities and will impact Osun state economy and creativity. The day for this event will be held on the 30th of November, 2024.
The fashion week will be a week full of unique, modern and cultured designs to showcase Nigeria’s rich heritage.
