Nigerian actress Pearl Nkiruka Waturuocha, famously known as, Pearl Wats takes shares that Nollywood is rising to the same level as Hollywood.
During a recent interview, the filmmaker shakers that the recognition of Nollywood is increasing globally and is on a possible rise to Hollywood Level.
“It is not only actors, actresses, producers, cameramen, directors, and producers that make money from the industry, but also make-up artists, stylists, fashion designers, video editors, food vendors, set designers, house agents, project managers, and many more.”

Nigerian comedian AY speaks out and reacts after a car accident involving British-Nigerian boxing star, Anthony Joshua.
The comedian expressed his worry over the accident and called out the government while mourning the boxing star’s loss of his two closest friends. He then called out the government for failure of infrastructure.
He said, “It is devastating that a Nigerian who has carried our flag with pride across the world can return home only for two of his closest associates to be met by death on our roads. Two precious lives gone. Friends. Brothers. People with families, dreams, and futures. This is not fate. This is failure. Failure of infrastructure. Failure of leadership.”

Pastor Chris Okafor Faces Fresh Allegation from Former Choir Member
Nigerian pastor Chris Okafor faces headlines again following a fresh allegation against him involving a former choir member.
A former member and chorister of Nigerian pastor Chris Okafor has come out and stated that she was misguided sexually by the pastor, which allegedly led her to multiple abortions based on his advice.
She took to social media and recalled how the relationship began and how it ended in several abortions. “Another day he summoned me; that was the first day we made out and made love. That was how the relationship started.”
“This was around 2016 or 2017. That was the first pregnancy. I called him and told him. He said we would keep it, but two days later he called and said I should abort it.”

Nigerian influencer, Sophia Momodu, laments and urges Nigerians to stop calling her or describing her as Davido’s wife just because they have a child together.
The influencer expressed her disappointment with such titles whenever she sees or hears them, and stated that content creators and other media platforms should stop describing her as that.
“Stop referring to me as Davido’s wife. Let’s respect people’s marriages and rules. If people have moved on, allow them to move on in peace. Everyone is happy and doing what they are supposed to do.”
