Funke Akindele Teases Upcoming Movie The Four: No One Fights Alone
Nigerian filmmaker and actress Funke Akindele makes headlines as she steps out with a teaser of her upcoming movie. The actress revealed an interesting way to promote the movie, which has captured the attention of many.
The title of the movie is The Four: No One Fights Alone, and it will be released on December 11, 2026.
The Four is a powerful, emotionally charged drama celebrating friendship, motherhood, resilience, and the extraordinary strength of ordinary women.
She shared “Audiences have grown with us over the years, and they expect stories that entertain while reflecting who we are. With The Four, we are exploring the relationships that shape us, challenge us and stay with us. I think audiences will find a part of themselves in this story.”
Tems makes headlines as she receives some backlash and Nigerian reactions after stating that she is not an Afrobeats singer.
Some Nigerians called her out, saying that she wants to forget her Nigerian roots now that she is famous.
Some stated that as long as she does not forget where she comes from, she is not Nigerian or should start claiming another ethnicity. Another fan recalled when this once happened to Wizkid, and he was called out.
Nigerian singer Tems speaks on how she views herself and shares that she does not view herself as an Afrobeats singer, but rather as an R&B artist.
“I’m not an Afrobeats artist. I classify my music as R&B every time I release music, but blogs keep calling it Afrobeats. I’ve noticed that any music that comes out of Africa is automatically categorized as Afrobeats.”

After many years, the jury convicts former gang leader Duane “Keffe D” Davis for the murder of Tupac Shakur.
The gang leader was found guilty after they found the weapon used years later. It was shared that the jury said:
“Count one, murder with use of a deadly weapon, guilty of first-degree murder with use of a deadly weapon,” the jury foreperson announced in court.
Duane Davis, in the culture of gangs, could not let that stand. “So what did he do? He acquired a firearm, got his group together, and went hunting for Mr. Shakur.”
