Nigerian footballer, George Ilenikhena breaks record as he is now the youngest player to have 15 appearances in the UEFA league.

It can be noted that the previous record breaker was Nigerian player, Nwankwo Kanu.

The record break was revealed by UEFA, who shared the details of the player’s age, 19 years and 157 days old.

Former Chelsea player, Ruud Gullit reveals the arsenal player that he prefers. During a recent interview the former player shared the player he favoured and revealed him to be Jurrien Timber.

“I like the way he plays. He doesn’t moan, he gets on with his job and is a real team player.”

“As well as that, he is so clever tactically and talented technically. He had a real setback with that long-term injury when he first joined Arsenal, but he has bounced back from that and adapted to the Premier League so well.”

Barcelona player Lamine Yamal hits a new milestone as he breaks the world record of goals scored in Europe’s top five leagues.

He earned this title after helping the team to a 3–0 win against Mallorca. Just under the age of 19, he achieved this. He has now passed Kylian Mbappé’s record.

Yamal now has 24 goals, overtaking Mbappé, who had scored 23 for AS Monaco and Paris Saint-Germain before turning 19 on 23 December 2017.

He stated that he truly had an impact on the team and contributed to their wins and defence, but noted that the player later dropped in performance during the quarter-finals.

“He was very good throughout the group phase, so exceptional. However, in the quarter-finals, it is true he started to falter a bit; physically, he is good, but it’s true we felt he was tired.”
