The disruption, affecting Microsoft software, has hindered the accreditation system and could delay athlete arrivals due to canceled flights.
This outage has also caused significant issues worldwide, grounding flights in the U.S., disrupting UK television broadcasts, and affecting telecommunications in Australia.
Paris 2024’s technical teams are working on contingency plans to manage these disruptions as they ready for the Games.
