“I’m Hungry for More Success” – Anthony Joshua Targets Fury and Third Title in 2025

Anthony Joshua, the Nigerian-born British professional boxer, has set his sights on becoming a three-time world heavyweight champion in 2025, with his primary target being a victory over Tyson Fury.

Joshua made the announcement during a visit to Nigerian President Bola Tinubu in Lagos on Wednesday.

This visit came shortly after the boxing champion met with Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun, marking part of his trip to Nigeria for the festive season.

When asked about his chances against Fury, Joshua said, “We’ll see, let’s get in the ring.

Only God knows, but for me, we’ll see in the future.”

He added that he was determined to work harder and stay hungry for success.

Reflecting on his journey, Joshua admitted, “Time is of the essence, time is limited.

So, I just want to put in more work. In 2024, when I look back, I believe I could have done more, and I have another chance in 2025 to do more.

I’m going to make sure that I take every opportunity that comes my way.”

The referee reveals how it was his first time in a semi final and was kind of nervous. “I’ve been to three AFCON tournaments, but this is the first time I’ve been in a semi-final.”

“So when coaches choose you for that game, they know your skills and what you can do. But of course, you feel a little nervous because of the level of the match.”
