Influencer Laura Ikeji Speaks on How Beauty Outshines Hard Work in Today’s Society
Nigerian influencer Laura Ikeji-Kanu sparked reactions online after making a bold claim about how unemployed women seem to earn more than hardworking women.
The influencer shared that in today’s society, beauty often brings more financial rewards than hard work. “We are in a country where girls who do not work earn more than girls who work hard, all because they are beautiful. Girls who are fine make so much money. Please, if you see any hardworking girls, always try to support them, no matter what.”
Popular Nigerian streamer, Carter Efe, has expressed excitement after singer Davido gifted him ₦20 million.
It will be recalled that the singer recently appeared on Carter Efe’s show, where his appearance alone broke records. Following the show, Davido promised to gift the streamer ₦20 million—a promise he later fulfilled.
Carter Efe made the announcement on social media, confirming that the money had been received. “Yeeeee Davido 20 million naira, I don die,” he wrote.
