Joe Cole Encourages Arsenal to Sign Marcus Rashford to Strengthen Their Left-Flank Attack

Former England international and Chelsea star Joe Cole has urged Arsenal to consider signing Marcus Rashford from Manchester United, believing the forward could be a valuable addition to the Gunners’ attack.
Speaking with TNT Sports, Cole emphasized that Arsenal needs to aim for elite talent to reinforce their left-wing options if they want to remain competitive at the top of the Premier League.
The suggestion comes amid growing speculation that Rashford might be on the chopping block at Manchester United following an underwhelming season.
Despite his undeniable talent and previous goal-scoring feats, Rashford’s recent performances have lacked consistency.
This has fueled rumors that the Red Devils could be open to letting him go, especially as the club undergoes a rebuild under Erik ten Hag.
Cole sees this potential availability as a golden opportunity for Arsenal.
He said, “If Marcus Rashford is available, he’d be a hell of a signing for Arsenal.
That’s the level they need to be looking at, especially for the left flank.
Arsenal need to target the very best if they want to improve.”
Arsenal’s right flank, led by the ever-reliable Bukayo Saka and the versatile Kai Havertz, has been one of their strong suits this season.

Guti Says Yamal Does Whatever He Wants Because No One Around Him Says No

Former Real Madrid midfielder Guti has taken aim at Barcelona’s rising star, Lamine Yamal, criticizing his outfit choice during a recent Spain national team press conference. The 17-year-old showed up with his hat worn backwards, a look Guti felt was inappropriate for such a professional setting.
Speaking on El Chiringuito TV, Guti said, “I didn’t like seeing Yamal at a press conference with his cap turned backwards. That’s something you do on vacation or in your personal life—not when representing your club or country.” He added that the blame shouldn’t fall on Yamal alone but on those around him who failed to correct the gesture. “It’s not his fault. The people around him should’ve said ‘no way’. He just did what he wanted.”
Yamal has had a solid run with Spain, scoring three goals in seven appearances and helping them reach the UEFA Nations League final. Though Spain lost to Portugal on penalties after a 2-2 draw, the young winger played a key role throughout the tournament. He also played a major part in Barcelona’s successful season, where the club secured the LaLiga title, Copa del Rey, and the Supercopa de España. However, in the final against Portugal, he struggled to make an impact as Nuno Mendes kept him in check.

“Ademola Lookman is Not for Sale, I Want Him To Stay” – Atalanta says

Ivan Juric, Atalanta’s newly appointed manager, has made it clear he wants Ademola Lookman to remain at the club despite growing transfer rumors. The Nigerian winger has attracted interest from top Serie A sides like Napoli and Juventus, as well as Premier League club Arsenal, following his impressive 22-goal campaign last season.
Juric, who previously coached at Torino and Hellas Verona, emphasized his desire to retain Lookman and midfielder Ederson, though he acknowledged that the club’s transfer strategy will ultimately decide their futures. “Ideally, we keep both Lookman and Ederson, but the club has its own plans in the market,” Juric told reporters. “I haven’t made any specific requests—I’m working with the players I have.”
Lookman has just one year left on his contract, adding urgency to Atalanta’s decision. After a breakout season with 22 goals and five assists, his future remains one of the summer’s biggest talking points in Italian football.
