Joe Cole says PSG Have Big Advantage Over Arsenal in UCLSemi-final
Former Chelsea star Joe Cole has pointed out what he sees as a big edge Paris Saint-Germain have over Arsenal in their upcoming Champions League semi-final clash.
Both teams secured their spots in the last four after PSG saw off Aston Villa and Arsenal pulled off a huge win against Real Madrid.
Speaking to TNT Sports, Cole praised Arsenal’s performance and the progress under Mikel Arteta, saying the club is in a great place despite falling out of the Premier League title race.
He noted that Arsenal have already faced PSG earlier in the competition, which helps reduce the element of surprise. However, he believes the real game-changer is that the second leg will be played in Paris.
With the away goals rule no longer in play, Cole thinks hosting the second leg gives PSG a significant advantage.
Still, he gave Arsenal full credit for their display at the Bernabeu, calling it a brilliant achievement.
The first leg will be held at the Emirates later this month, with the return match scheduled for May in Paris.
Former footballer Thierry Henry has shared his thoughts on Arsenal’s match following their loss to Atlético Madrid on October 13.
Speaking during a brief interview on CBS Sports, Henry criticised the practice of players or coaches expressing certain opinions through the media instead of addressing issues directly within the dressing room.
“I’m not a coach anymore, but I always say, whoever speaks like that, out. Keep that in the dressing room, it’s as simple as that,” Henry said on CBS Sports.
“That is the only way it can work. You have to say those things to a person’s face… going through the press, I am not really a fan of that.”

The manager spoke about how hard his players have worked and expressed his belief that they deserve the recognition.
“What I hope is that we win this trophy. We have players who deserve it.”

“Even if, for me, in fact, he doesn’t have the Ballon d’Or unanimously because his World Cup was average, even being average, he won it with Spain. He won La Liga with Barça.”
