Al Hilal are once again making a push to sign Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes, hoping to bring him to Saudi Arabia before the summer transfer window closes. The Portuguese midfielder had previously rejected a massive offer from the Saudi Pro League champions, reportedly worth around £200 million over three seasons.

Fernandes had revealed that the club’s president reached out to him directly and that he discussed the offer with Sporting Lisbon coach Ruben Amorim, who advised him against making the move. He also stated that Manchester United had no intention of selling him and made it clear they weren’t in need of the money.

Despite his earlier rejection, reports from Metro UK suggest that Al Hilal are not backing down, with new manager Jorge Jesus said to be leading the charge to convince Fernandes to make the switch.
