Just B’s Bain Says He’s Gay While Performing Live in Los Angeles

Bain, a member of the K-pop group Just B, made headlines after opening up about his sexuality during a concert in Los Angeles.

The 23-year-old surprised fans by revealing he’s gay, a rare move in the Korean music scene where artists often keep their personal lives private.

While performing a solo, Bain proudly said he’s part of the LGBTQ+ community, prompting the audience to erupt in cheers.

He went on to share a heartfelt message: “To anyone out there in the LGBTQ+ community or still figuring things out — this is for you. You are seen, you are loved, and you were born this way.”

Korean outlet News1 reports that Bain is the first male K-pop idol to come out publicly.

After the show, fellow bandmate Siwoo shared a touching message on a fan platform, saying, “I was watching from backstage and I cried too. I cried even more because I knew how hard it was for him.”
