Leicester City are gearing up to face Liverpool in a highly anticipated Premier League clash set for Sunday evening, with kick-off scheduled for 4:30 pm Nigerian time. The Foxes come into this game after a 2-2 draw with Brighton, while Liverpool edged past West Ham 2-1 in their last outing.

When these two sides last met back in December, Liverpool came out on top with a 3-1 win at Anfield, with goals from Cody Gakpo, Curtis Jones, and Mohamed Salah sealing the victory. This time around, Liverpool boss Arne Slot will have to make do without Joe Gomez and Tyler Morton, both sidelined due to injury.

The Reds currently sit at the top of the Premier League table, 13 points clear of Arsenal, with less than six games left to wrap up the season.

For Leicester, it’s a crucial game as they try to steer clear of relegation. They’re currently 19th on the table, just above Southampton. However, there’s a bit of good news for the home side—Ruud Van Nistelrooy confirmed that both Wout Faes and Jeremy Monga are back in the squad after recovering from minor knocks.

It’s more than just three points at stake. Van Nistelrooy will be pushing for a strong performance at the King Power Stadium as he looks to turn the tide against a Liverpool team aiming to complete the double and stretch their lead even further.
