On February 25, 2025, BLACKPINK’s Lisa faced an unexpected challenge when her highly anticipated solo album, “Alter Ego,” was leaked online just days before its official release.

The album, scheduled to drop on February 28, features 15 tracks, including collaborations with renowned artists like Megan Thee Stallion, Future, Tyla, Rosalía, Doja Cat, and RAYE.

During a live broadcast on the fan platform Bubble, Lisa was engaging with her audience, sharing teasers and discussing her upcoming project. Midway through the session, she noticed comments from fans alerting her to the leak.

Visibly taken aback, Lisa responded, “It’s leaked though, really? What?” Her expression shifted from surprise to disappointment as she turned to her friend Alice, indicating her intent to address the situation promptly.

She went on to speak about how she has had hard for one year preparing the album for fans. The premature release of “Alter Ego” has brought concern among fans.

Nigerian Singer Burna Boy makes headlines as he’s under a United States lawsuit. The singer has been claimed of inappropriately using Haitian song into his recent song.

The lawsuit was filed by an Haitian singer, Fabrice Rouzier, who claims that Burna Boy acted out plagiarism for the use of Haitian song.

The Haitian singer is expecting legal fees to the damages that has been done. Rouzier is also requesting for destruction of all the copies that contain the plagiarized material.

The singer also stated that his name and any connection to his song should not be used again.
