K-pop girl group IVE is officially making their return to the music scene, and fans are already excited. The group has announced that their fourth extended play, titled IVE SECRET, will drop on August 25.

The announcement came with a set of teaser images. The word “XOXZ” was featured across the visuals, alongside surreal objects like flying pigs, paper cranes, a perfume bottle, and an old-school phone. Every member was pictured in a unique setup, and the vibe was mysterious.

This comeback marks IVE’s return after several months away from the spotlight. Their last release earlier this year, IVE EMPATHY, was a huge success both in Korea and internationally. Han So Hee and Choi Min Sik Team Up for Korean Remake of “The Intern”

Popular actress Han So Hee and legendary actor Choi Min Sik have officially been confirmed as the leads in the upcoming Korean remake of The Intern, a heartfelt comedy-drama originally made in Hollywood. Filming is set to begin in September 2025.

In this remake, Han So Hee will play a driven young CEO. It is a role inspired by Anne Hathaway’s character in the original movie. As for Choi Min Sik, he will take on the role of her senior intern, originally played by Robert De Niro. The story focuses on their unexpected friendship as they learn from each other and grow in different ways, both personally and professionally.

The film will be directed by Kim Do Young, the mind behind Kim Ji Young, Born 1982. Her experience with emotionally rich and socially thoughtful films is expected to bring a new level of depth to this adaptation.

Nigerian singer Magixx has voiced his concerns about the rising influence of streaming farms, claiming they’re one of the main reasons new talents struggle to shine in today’s music scene.

According to him, most of the top positions on streaming charts, especially platforms like Apple Music, are no longer earned organically. He believes they’re being “bought,” which leaves little room for fresh artists to break through.

Sharing his thoughts on X, he wrote, “Just so y’all know, the reason why we don’t have enough breakout artists these days is because almost every spot on Apple Music is bought!”

The topic of streaming manipulation has been a hot one in the industry for a while now. Accusations of artists using bots or artificial systems to boost song streams have surfaced repeatedly, even though many insiders still deny that streaming farms exist.
