‘Karma’ (Premiering April 4, 2025)

South Korean singer-songwriter and actress IU, whose real name is Lee Ji-eun, has achieved a remarkable milestone by surpassing 10 million subscribers on her official YouTube channel, ‘이지금 [IU Official]’.

Notably, this accomplishment, reached on April 6, 2025, grants her the prestigious Diamond Play Button from YouTube, an award given to channels that reach the 10 million subscriber mark.

Earlier, IU launched her YouTube channel in February 2017, and over the past eight years, it has become a hub for diverse content. The channel features behind-the-scenes footage, music videos, live performances, and her original variety program, IU’s Palette.

Additionally, this variety has allowed fans to gain an intimate glimpse into her artistic journey and personal experiences. The channel reached one million subscribers by May 2019 and surpassed five million by January 2021.

Also, to commemorate this achievement, IU posted a short video on her channel capturing the moment her subscriber count crossed the 10 million threshold. In the video, she is seen holding a tablet displaying the real-time subscriber count.
