She shared the news with her followers on Instagram Wednesday evening, announcing that E.l.f has acquired Rhode in a deal combining cash and stock worth $800 million, with an additional $200 million to be paid based on the brand’s future sales.

The acquisition is expected to finalize later in 2025. Despite the sale, Hailey will stay on as CEO and head of innovation at Rhode, while also taking on a role as a strategic advisor for E.l.f Beauty. Hailey launched Rhode in 2022, quickly growing it into a notable name in the beauty industry.
