Oxlade Says Fireboy Taught Him How to Write and Compose Better Music
Afrobeats star Oxlade has shared how Fireboy DML played a major role in shaping his music journey. Speaking during a recent livestream with popular content creator Shank Comics, he said Fireboy’s guidance in the early days of his career completely transformed the way he made music.
Oxlade praised Fireboy’s songwriting skills, calling him unmatched in the Nigerian music scene. He revealed that learning from Fireboy helped him understand how to properly structure songs before he eventually developed his own style. According to him, Fireboy’s support and mentorship were “life-changing” and a key part of his growth as an artist.
