Pedro Picks Pedri for Ballon d’Or Says He Deserves It More Than Yamal and Dembele

Lazio winger Pedro has made it clear who he’s backing for the 2025 Ballon d’Or, and it’s not Lamine Yamal or Ousmane Dembele. The former Chelsea forward believes Barcelona’s Pedri deserves the top honour, saying he would give him full marks to win the prestigious award ahead of other contenders.
Pedri has been outstanding for Barcelona this season, cementing his place as one of the leading names in the race for the Ballon d’Or. The Spanish midfielder will be up against big names like Dembele, Yamal, Raphinha, Mohamed Salah, and others.
When asked about his choice, Pedro told El Día de Tenerife he has no doubts. “For me, Pedri deserves the maximum score,” Pedro said. “Lamine Yamal is also there, and of course players like Dembele or Raphinha, but I’d love to see Pedri win it. “He’s the best in the world in his position.”

Galatasaray Stops Pursuing Osimhen After Napoli Ask for Too Much Money

Turkish transfer expert Süleyman Rodop has confirmed that Galatasaray will no longer pursue Victor Osimhen following Napoli’s tough demands. Napoli reportedly asked for €40 million upfront and another €35 million by 2026, along with a sell-on clause, after Galatasaray submitted their fourth offer for the Nigerian striker.
Speaking to Turkish outlet habersarikirmizi, Rodop stated that the Turkish club won’t go beyond their final bid. He explained that although Osimhen’s current deal runs out next year, Napoli still hold the option to extend it by another season. Rodop praised Osimhen for his professionalism, saying he handled the situation admirably.
However, Galatasaray have decided to walk away, believing Napoli are dragging the deal unnecessarily. “The latest offer stands, and it won’t change,” Rodop said. “Napoli’s president is just playing games now.” Osimhen is said to be eager to return to Galatasaray permanently, after impressing on loan last season.

Jorge Jesus Says Ronaldo Is the Reason He Joined Al-Nassr

New Al-Nassr manager Jorge Jesus has made it clear that Cristiano Ronaldo played a major role in his decision to join the club. During his first remarks after taking the job, Jesus admitted that without Ronaldo, he likely wouldn’t have accepted the offer.
The Portuguese coach, who takes over from Stefano Pioli following a disappointing season, said he’s eager to help both the club and its captain win silverware. “Cristiano hasn’t won much here yet,” Jesus said. “I want to help change that. We speak the same language, so working together will be smooth.”

Napoli and Galatasaray Struggle to Agree on Osimhen Transfer Deal

Napoli seem to be raising the bar as talks continue over Victor Osimhen’s potential move this summer. The Nigerian striker is eager to make a permanent switch to Galatasaray after a loan spell in Istanbul, but the Turkish club has already had multiple bids turned down.
On Monday, another offer was reportedly rejected, with Napoli now demanding €40 million upfront, another €35 million by 2026, and a sell-on clause. Galatasaray isn’t backing down just yet, but they’re holding firm on their terms, they want to complete the deal for €35 million by 2027 and are not open to including a sell-on clause.
