Peter Obi congratulates Nigerian Afrobeats sensation Tems on her latest Grammy win, praising the success of Nigerian youths in the entertainment industry. In a post on his X handle, he writes:

“I am ever elated by the huge success Nigerian youths are making in various fields, especially in the entertainment sector.

Therefore, I extend my hearty congratulations to our Nigerian Afrobeats star, Tems @temsbaby, who just secured her second Grammy Award with her win in the Best African Music Performance category.

I also rejoice with Nigeria’s entertainment industry and other Nigerian artists who were nominated for different awards in their respective categories.

Undoubtedly, Nigeria remains home to the endless flow of talents who through their creative arts, continue to put the nation on the global map.

Tems, whose real name is Temilade Openiyi, made history with her win at the 66th Annual Grammy Awards, taking home the first-ever Best African Music Performance award.

Also, this marks her second Grammy, following her win in 2023 for her feature on Future’s hit song Wait for U alongside Drake.

Moses Bliss has now issued an apology, saying “I sincerely apologize to every graphic designer who felt disrespected or undervalued… that was never my intention.”

He added “The goal was to give creatives a platform to showcase their work, not to undermine their value.”
