Italian club AS Roma has reappointed Claudio Ranieri as head coach, marking his third stint with the team.

The 73-year-old will transition into a “senior executive role” at the end of the 2024/25 season, where he will advise the club’s ownership on sporting matters and assist in selecting his successor.

Ranieri, who led Leicester City to a historic Premier League title in 2015/16, last managed Roma briefly in 2019, with an earlier tenure a decade before.

Ugandan TikToker Convicted for Calling for Public Flogging of President Museveni

A Ugandan court has convicted 21-year-old Emmanuel Nabugodi for posting a TikTok video that called for the public flogging of President Yoweri Museveni.

Nabugodi, who staged a mock trial of the president, pleaded guilty to “spreading hate speech” and faces up to seven years in prison. He was remanded to Kigo maximum-security prison until his sentencing on November 18.

This is the latest case in Uganda’s crackdown on criticism of Museveni and his family, with several individuals recently sentenced or charged for similar offenses.

Pharrell Responds to Drake’s Comments on Melting Down His Jewelry

Grammy-winning producer and Louis Vuitton men’s creative director, Pharrell, has addressed Drake’s 2023 comments about buying and threatening to melt down his old jewelry.

In a recent interview with GG Magazine, Pharrell reflected on auctioning his jewelry in 2022, saying, “You never realize how much all the stuff you have weighs on you, but it does… When you let that go, man, you feel so free.”

Asked how he felt about Drake’s remarks in his verse on Travis Scott’s “Meltdown,” Pharrell responded, “It didn’t.” In that verse, Drake took a jab, rapping about melting down Pharrell’s chains and dismissing their heritage value.

Drake’s $3.3 million jewelry haul included unique pieces like a N.E.R.D. pendant chain and a skateboard chain, which he showcased in his “Jumbotron Shit Poppin” video.
