Portable Mocks Olamide for Giving Him a Verse While Promoting Asake
Controversial singer Portable has taken a jab at rapper and music executive Olamide, mocking him over the rumored fallout with his former signee, Asake.
Speculation has been rife that Asake parted ways with Olamide’s YBNL label under less-than-friendly circumstances. In a video posted on his social media, Portable humorously criticized Olamide for not signing him, despite providing him with a verse for his hit song ‘Zazu.’
“If you had asked me to sign with your label, I would have said yes. But instead, you took my producer, dancer, and Kogbagidi away from me,” Portable said.
“The person you helped [Asake] doesn’t even appreciate you anymore. You only gave me a verse, and yet I’m still more thankful than Asake, whom you gave everything. If you promoted me the way you promoted him, I would have done even better.”
A Nigerian lady who resides abroad sparks reactions as she revealed that she is getting paid to watch live football matches.
The lady took to social media to reveal this and shared the positive side of living in the UK.
“You people will get angry when I tell you that I love the UK. So currently right now I am getting paid to watch a live football match. I love this country so much, and if you have any negative thing to say about it, it’s okay…”
The public then reacts to her comment and experience, with many wishing to be her.
Nigerian gospel singer Bidemi Olaoba makes headlines. It can be noted that an 84-hour praise marathon occurred from the 3rd of March till now.
The praise marathon had the following artists in attendance: Dunsin Oyekan, Chioma Jesus, Simisola Agbebi, and Toluwasings.
The event was also held to celebrate the birthday of Nigerian pastor Enoch Adeboye. However, the singer is now trending because of a phrase he said during the event, “Yakubu Manage”.
The public criticized and shared that it is a secular phrase or an ending phrase and it was odd for him to say in a praise session, while others defend and share that it doesn’t mean anything.
Nigerian singer Simi’s management steps out to address the rumors regarding a divorce between the couple.
The rumors stated that Adekunle Gold had gone to file for divorce. However, the management came out to share that whatever news is being seen about divorce is not true.
“It’s fake and fabricated. First, stage names are not tenable in any court of justice worldwide as indicated in the document. Even the suit number on the document is backdated to 2024 (SUIT NO HCL/FC/2024/0178),” he said.
