Portable Shades Mavo, Questions His Talent and Use of Auto-Tune
Nigerian singer Portable has taken to social media to shade rising artist Mavo, questioning his talent and use of auto-tune.
Portable described Mavo as untalented and claimed he relies heavily on auto-tune, while also criticizing celebrities who associate and collaborate with him. “Mavo uses auto-tune. I’ve been seeing some celebrities associating and collaborating with you.”
Portable later reacted after watching one of Mavo’s live band performances. “You now went to do a live band. Is that how to perform? Even my signees sing better than you.”
“Your live performance is shambolic. That’s not how to use a live band. I blame the superstars who overlook real talents and support overhyped wack artists.”
