Rema Returns to Benin for Homecoming Concert
Afrobeat sensation Divine Ikubor, widely recognized by his stage name Rema, made a grand return to his hometown of Benin City, Edo State, on Tuesday.
This visit comes in anticipation of his much-awaited homecoming concert, slated for Friday, August 30, 2024.
Rema’s arrival was marked by an enthusiastic and culturally rich reception from the Edo State government and local communities.
As a gesture of honor and celebration, traditional Edo culture was put on full display, adding to the significance of his homecoming.
Edo women, dressed in colorful, traditional attire, performed captivating songs and dances at the airport, welcoming the internationally acclaimed star in a manner befitting his global status.
The homecoming concert, set to take place today at 6 p.m., has generated widespread excitement among fans, with expectations running high for an unforgettable evening.

Nigerian actress Bisola Aiyeola speaks on motherhood and when she found out she was first going to be a mother.
She revealed that she was afraid when she first found out and revealed that she was engaged at that time, however they didn’t get married.

Nigerian singer Asake speaks on his relationship with his father. In a recent interview he shared that he loves his father despite any distance.
“The love is still the same between me and my dad, even if I don’t live with him or see him every day, Even if he points a gun at me, till eternity he will always be my dad, and I will still show him the same love.”
It can be noted that few weeks back the singer gifted his father and his mother a car.
