Rivaldo Says Rashford Will Do Well at Barcelona Once He Settles In
Former Barcelona star Rivaldo has backed Marcus Rashford to make a big impact at his new club. Rashford, who recently made a season-long switch from Manchester United to Barcelona, agreed to a 15 per cent wage cut to seal the move.
Rivaldo praised the 27-year-old, calling him a fantastic player and expressing confidence in his ability to succeed in Spain. He said Rashford just needs to understand his role in the team and adapt to the coach’s style, and once he does, he believes the forward will thrive in the Barcelona setup.
Chelsea player Enzo Fernández is in discussions to join Manchester City. This information was revealed by Fabrizio Romano, who shared that the two clubs are discussing a potential deal.
He wrote: “Enzo Fernández has a verbal agreement with Manchester City on personal terms.
“Deal depends on club-to-club decision, as #MCFC have not sent an official bid yet, but contacts will take place soon; decision on price is up to Chelsea.
“Enzo could be out again this weekend.”
Manchester City manager Enzo Maresca mentions his captains for the team. He mentions Rúben Dias and Erling Haaland.
