Guardiola Says He Will Take a Long Break From Football After Leaving Man City
Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has confirmed he’ll be stepping away from football for a long break once his time at the club ends. The 54-year-old, who has led City to 18 trophies, including six Premier League titles and a Champions League win, says he plans to prioritise his health after years in the dugout.
Guardiola, who joined the club in 2016, revealed in an interview with GQ Spain that taking a break is not just an idea, but a firm decision. “I’m definitely going to stop after this chapter with City,” he said. “It’s already decided. I just don’t know how long—maybe a year, maybe five, maybe even more. But I need time to take care of myself.” His current contract runs until 2027.

Zlatan Ibrahimović Names African Team to Watch at FIFA World Cup
Former footballer Zlatan Ibrahimović speaks on the FIFA World Cup and states which African team countries should watch out for.
During a recent interview, the former player shared that Ivory Coast should be one of the teams to look out for.
“They can be dangerous. It is a very good team. They lost against Germany, but that game could have been a draw or even a win.
“So, it’s not like they came out of the group with one loss because of a bad game against Germany. They played a good game against Germany and could easily have gotten a point against them.”
