Anthony Joshua has hinted that he could hang up his gloves in 2025, marking the end of a 12-year professional boxing career. The former world champion, who last fought in September 2024 and suffered a knockout loss to Daniel Dubois, suggested in a recent interview that his final fight may come before the year ends.

Speaking on the Ariel Helwani Show, the 35-year-old praised MatchRoom Boxing, the promotion team he’s been with since turning pro in 2013, and hinted that he’ll finish his journey with them. “It’s been 12 years with MatchRoom, and after 12 years, I’ll throw my last punch with them,” Joshua said. “They’ve helped fighters chase greatness, and I’m proud to have been part of that.”
