Rodri Out for Season, Major Blow to City’s Title Hopes

Manager Pep Guardiola confirmed Rodri suffered an ACL injury during last week’s 2-2 draw with Arsenal and underwent surgery on Friday.
Guardiola, speaking before their match against Newcastle, called Rodri “irreplaceable” but stressed the team must adapt. Rodri played a crucial role in City’s title defense last season and was named player of the tournament at Euro 2024 as Spain won.

This might be true, but celebrating even making it to the finals after 20 years should be justified enough, some argue.
Some comments stated that they haven’t won it yet.
