Speed Darlington Slams Fans Urging Him to Join VeryDarkMan Protest: ‘Did You Protest for Me?’
Nigerian Singer Speed Darlington takes to social media to lament about the fact that VeryDarkMan’s fans are requesting he joins the protest.
It can be recalled that VDM has been arrested by the EFCC which has caused fans to protest for the release of the activist. The protest has been continually held online as fans and celebrities speak up and plead with EFCC to release him. Meanwhile some fans also hold a physical protest at GTBank in Abuja to demand the release of the activist.
Speed Darlington then comes online to express his annoyance with those requesting he joins. “How many of you protest, did you protest for me? God punish you! You come my page to disrespect me. Your mates are hustling, trying to make something of their lives.”

It can be noted that the singer took to social media asking for a graphic designer to create a flyer, which later turned into a challenge that many criticised, stating it undervalued creatives.
Moses Bliss has now issued an apology, saying “I sincerely apologize to every graphic designer who felt disrespected or undervalued… that was never my intention.”
He added “The goal was to give creatives a platform to showcase their work, not to undermine their value.”
