“Surviving in Nigeria is Tough, Which Gives Artists a Hustler Mentality” – Tiwa Savage
Afrobeats artist Tiwa Savage recently opened up about the reasons behind the abundance of talented entertainers emerging from Nigeria, attributing it to the tough economic conditions many face in the country.
During an appearance on the Shopping The Sneakers podcast, the renowned singer highlighted the hardships in Nigeria and how they push young people to tap into their creative abilities as a means of survival.
Savage shared her perspective, stating, “If you visit Nigeria, you’ll begin to understand why we produce so many superstars.
Surviving here is no easy feat, and that’s why the artists who rise from Nigeria have this hustler mentality.
They’re constantly grinding, trying to make a name for themselves and get ahead.”
