As of May 28, 2025, speculation is mounting regarding a potential engagement between pop superstar Taylor Swift and NFL star Travis Kelce. The couple, both 35, have been dating since the summer of 2023 and are reportedly in a strong and committed relationship.

According to insider sources, an engagement is “100 percent” expected to happen, with Kelce likely to propose after retiring from the NFL. His current contract with the Kansas City Chiefs ends after the 2025 season, suggesting a proposal could occur in early 2026. Both Swift and Kelce view their relationship as their final one, with plans to marry and start a family eventually.

The couple’s families are reportedly supportive of their relationship. Swift’s parents, Scott and Andrea, are enthusiastic about the union, and Kelce has been seen spending time with them. Similarly, Swift has been embraced by Kelce’s family, having spent Mother’s Day with them in Philadelphia.

Fans have been eagerly awaiting an official announcement, especially after the couple’s unexpected absence from the 2025 American Music Awards. Their no-show sparked theories that they might have skipped the event for a secret engagement ceremony.

Despite the rumors, both Swift and Kelce have found the speculation amusing. They reportedly find it humorous that engagement rumors have been circulating since they began dating.
