President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, as the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, has announced the postponement of the Federal Executive Council meeting that was originally scheduled for today.

The meeting will be rescheduled for a later date, which will be communicated to the public in due course.

This decision comes as a mark of respect and tribute to the late Lt. General Taoreed Lagbaja, the Chief of Army Staff, who sadly passed away on the night of Tuesday, November 5, 2024.

General Lagbaja has been serving the nation with unwavering dedication since he was appointed Chief of Army Staff on June 19, 2023.
