Toke Makinwa has denied rumors that she married entertainment guru Farouk Umar during her 40th birthday Thanksgiving celebration in Lagos. The speculation began after photos and videos emerged of the two in matching all-white outfits, appearing affectionate.
In response, Toke clarified that she is not remarried and emphasized their friendship. She said, “On Obasanjo’s internet, they say I married this guy. This guy is my best friend. Listen, on Toke Makinwa’s internet, they claim I married Farouk. Farouk is my friend and brother—who wants to marry you? He supported me when I had no one.”

Nigerian Singer Davido speaks on his friendship with Hushpuppi, he reveals that he never knew the activities he was engaged in.
During a recent interview, the singer shared that while he was friends with Hushpuppi, he had no idea of his source of income.
“My prayers go out to him, he’s my friend. I just used to see him around — I never really knew what he was doing. But he lived a good life.”
Davido then speaks on the consequences of such actions and states that no matter what those type of people will face it.

It can be recalled that a boxing match between Portable and Speed Darlington occurred on the 18th of April after their online feud. Speed Darlington demanded a match with Portable, in which he reluctantly agreed to.
The man goes viral on X as he is seen expressing frustration at the money he lost for betting on Speed Darlington. He states after the match “Balance me my money back, I bet N1 million. I am not happy.”
